Duke Energy has planned a power outage that will affect Haywood EMC’s Rosman Substation beginning Saturday, June 28 at 11:59 pm lasting one hour until approximately 1:00 am on Sunday, June 29th. This planned power outage will allow Duke Energy workers to replace equipment on their delivery point to Haywood EMC’s Rosman substation.
We thank you for your understanding as we work to better serve our member-owners served by the Rosman substation.
Communities to be affected by this outage include:
Rosman, Connestee Falls (units 3, 4, 10, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 and 32), Frozen Creek, Quebec Mountain, Old Toxaway, East Fork, Middle Fork, Indian Camp, Powell Town, Glady Fork, and Walnut Hollow
