Haywood EMC held its annual business meeting on August 4 at the Waynesville Headquarters office. During this year’s meeting, Haywood EMC confirmed the reelection of the incumbent board members Lucas Sorrells, serving District 1; James Boyette, serving District 2; and Clay Talley, serving District 8. Each will serve a 3-year term.
After the 2022 Annual Meeting, Haywood EMC’s Board of Directors met for the Board of Directors Officer Election. The results of the 2022 to 2023 officer elections are as follows:
- President: Larry Clark
- Vice President: Lucas Sorrells
- Secretary/Treasurer: Clay Talley
- Assistant Secretary Treasurer: David Noland
