Roy Williams Basketball Camp Scholarship Information
Camp Dates: Undecided for 2021
The 2021 Basketball Camps are still being discussed, due to many unknowns regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic. For now, we are asking that all applicants hold off on submitting any applications until the decision on Summer 2021 camps has been made. We apologize for the late notice and hold on applications.
Who is Eligible?
Young men entering sixth, seventh or eighth grades are eligible for the Roy Williams' Carolina Basketball Camp Scholarship. Each winner will receive an all-expense-paid scholarship to attend the Roy Williams' Carolina Basketball Camp. Contestants are to write a brief (300 words or less) essay from one of the two topics provided. All applicants must have a parent/guardian’s signature under the Parental/Guardian Consent portion of this application in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
Contest Guidelines:
- Male students who are rising sixth, seventh or eighth graders are eligible to apply. This scholarship is not applicable for students going into the ninth grade.

- Criteria for the contest include:
-Originality and accuracy of written essay—55 percent
-Scholastic and extracurricular activities—40 percent
-Short answer question—5 percent - Applications must be completed and submitted by March 31, 2021.
