Today, we'll be holding our Blood Drive in Lake Toxaway at the Fire Dept. (850 Blue Ridge Road) from 9am - 1pm. Each donor will receive a $70 gift card from The Blood Connection for their donation and a t-shirt.
Beginning at 9:30 AM on Thursday, June 25, members in the Whiteside Cove community of Cashiers and Highlands will experience a power outage for equipment maintenance.
Our Lake Toxaway office will be closed to walk-in traffic on Wednesday and Thursday (7/1 -7/2) of this week for employee training. The payment kiosk will remain open during these days.
On Tuesday, July 14, Duke energy will have to take an emergency outage on the transmission line feeding our Quebec Substation. The outage will take place from approximately 9am - 11am.
During periods of extreme cold, energy demand rises quickly as heating systems run longer and harder. To help reduce strain on the electric grid and support reliable service for everyone, we ask all members to be mindful of their energy use throughout the weekend.
