High School Juniors |
Every year, Haywood EMC sends two high school juniors on an all expense paid trip to Washington, DC for a week in early June. They travel from Raleigh with approximately 40 other juniors from across North Carolina and meet up with over 1,500 more in DC from all across the United States. |

You can win this trip! Winners are selected based on their community and school involvement, their application and 250 word essay, and a personal interview with a panel of judges. One runner up will be eligible to attend a cooperative leadership camp at White Lake, NC. |
Applications are available from school guidance counselors or you can print one here. The application deadline is March 19, 2010. |
