Haywood EMC is committed to providing our members with affordable, reliable, safe services and open communications. In addition, safety is the utmost priority for our employees. Haywood EMC was the first utility in the state of North Carolina to have Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) in our trucks in the fields and in our local offices. All our employees are also trained in first aid, CPR, and the use of the AED's. Haywood EMC is accreditated by the Rural Electric Safety Accreditation Program.
