If you should loose your electricity:

• First check your electrical panel to see if a fuse has blown or a breaker has tripped.
• If the problem is not in your panel, call a neighbor to see if others have been affected.
• If the problem is not within you home, call Haywood EMC at 452-2281 or 800-951-6088 to report the outage using our automated outage system. You will need to have your account number or phone number handy when calling.

Our Operations Department is staffed 24 hours a day to continuously monitor the outage system. They are usually aware of a problem within a very short time, often even before you call, and will have a service crew dispatched within minutes.
